NP’s have either one or two facilities that they are assigned to based upon their salary preference and location. However, occasionally cross coverage is needed in facilities outside of a preferred travel radius for a short period of time.

The facilities have a communications book that the supervisors generally keep organized with the days’ tasks. In addition, there are communications from the facility's EHR to the provider's email, as well as verbal communications within the facility.

You’ll train in the field with an experienced nursing home NP for a period of time customized to your level of expertise.

No. We bill for our visits and are paid directly by the patient’s medical insurances.

It varies for each facility. The number of patients and medical necessity of visits predicate how often an NP will round on-site. However, our on-call service is available after hours.

The contract automatically renews each year however either party can terminate the contract with a 30-day notice before the end of the term.
